ERNESTO MOCK, Associate AIA

Born in Panama in 1983, he obtained his degree from California Polytechnic, San Luis Obispo, regarded as one of the top architecture programs in the United States. During his studies, he received training in Mexico and Italy at the American Institute for Roman Culture. This rigorous education opened doors to some of the best architectural firms in the world. With experience at Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM) and Arquitectónica, he later worked for eight years at the prestigious firm of Frank Gehry, contributing to significant projects such as the UTS Business School in Sydney, Australia, and more recently, the Facebook Headquarters MPK21 in Silicon Valley, California. After nearly 17 years of experiencing architecture from a global perspective, he decided to return to Panama to start his own project, partnering to form Casis Mock Architects. Since 2019, he has sought to combine his international experience with local knowledge to produce the best possible Panamanian architecture, merging design and creativity with a disciplined project development process.
